Use text search utility
Examine is a versatile search utility that searches text and binary files using words or GREP-style (Global Regular Expression Print) terms. Choose a directory, and optionally include subdirectories, a file mask, and match case. Examine returns a neat list of findings with file details, the selection highlighted in context, and line number. Choose display fonts, colors, and use the internal viewer, or specify one of your own. Save your results to a file or printer. This release adds logical searches using the expressions OR, AND, NOT and XOR with a specified search proximity and other enhancements.
